SFGT was my first forray into advertising, and the Philadelphia Auto Show, was my first client. In addition to creating a multi-media campaign for the show itself, they requested we design an invitation package for their charity preview gala which kicked off the event. The night’s proceeds benefited
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, so they wanted to set a fun tone that tied together a fancy black tie party and children.

The concept for the design was to play off a baby’s mobile, with antique and classic cars. The execution wound up being a lot of fun. I went to Kate’s Paperie to pick up a midnight blue sky texture, handmade silver cut out stars and string to prop the cars, which were ordered from collectors on eBay. The photoshoot took place at KatVan studios in New York.
